English Name - Scallion

Japanese Name - 深根一本 太ねぎ (fukaneippon futonegi)

The scallions sown from seeds did not produce due to a couple of typhoons and strong seasonal winds and rain.
Scallion Bulbs

The scallions shown in the picture were actually growing from bulbs which the neighbors were nice enough to provide.

Medium Quality

The scallions were definitely edible, and actually pretty good but no where close to the quality you would find at the grocery store.

As an amateur farmer, I am constantly looking for information to make things easier, and to be more productive in my farms.
