This is a story about an international couple raising and home educating three young boys on a small island in Japan, half living in buses, engaged in organic, self-sufficient farming in the middle of a mountain forest while dealing with climate, cultural, and personal challenges. These pages are about pretty much anything and everything all guided by our family motto, Taking Chances, Making Changes, Being Happy. Thank you very much for joining us on our ongoing crazy adventure.

- Facebook Post - This town was hit with an incredible thunderstorm this afternoon. Really shook the house. It rivaled anything seen in Kenmore without a doubt. It seems like the monsoon season arrived in Japan this week.

- No Reason Party. It seems nobody wanted to wait a few weeks for the Independence Day party. Best thing to do, simply throw another party.

- Facebook Post - This year grapes and cucumbers combining to form a canopy in the yard.

- Facebook Post - TERMITES. Yup finally got around to replacing the termite infested piece of tree holding up the entry of the house. A few more projects to work on this week. Hey 4 more days until the mega party. See you then.
