This is a story about an
international couple raising and home educating three
young boys on a small island in Japan, half living in
buses, engaged in organic, self-sufficient farming in
the middle of a mountain forest while dealing with
climate, cultural, and personal challenges. These pages
are about pretty much anything and everything all guided
by our family motto, Taking Chances, Making Changes,
Being Happy. Thank you very much for joining us on our
ongoing crazy adventure.

PICKING UP THE PUPPIES.
These puppies were actually flown in from Kyushu via ANA airlines. Already world
travelers. Was nice to get them home.
COOL KITTY TOWER.
Made a nice play kitty tower last week.
CASTING PRACTICE.
Yup the little dude can cast pretty far now.
KEI CAMPING CAR.
Turned this little bitty kei car into a camping car. Made a patio which connects
with the roof rack. Pretty useful.

THOMAS EXHIBIT SUCKED.
Thank goodness for a bunch of free tickets. Was a total money making scheme. A
boring exhibit and then shops selling tons of overpriced stuff. Was still nice
to go to Kyoto and Osaka. A day out of the countryside. Tonight BBQ beer and
hanging out with the cat and the puppies and relaxing.
We are now riding on the train en route to Kyoto for a Thomas exhibit.

Hey incredible fireworks show. We found a place along the road with a bunch of
other folks. Thunderstorms finished right before the show began. Now gonna head
to Wakayama for a couple days of fishing again.
Now sitting in mega traffic en route to Gojo for fireworks. Rocking out and
heading into a thunderstorm. Puppies first long trip and they are doing
fantastic.

RELAXING.
Spent today packing and then drove 6 hours to Wakayama. Normally takes a couple
hours but the traffic before and after the fireworks was incredible. Now about 2
am and wifey son and puppies are sleeping. Now listening to classical guitar
drinking beer and relaxing. Nice breeze blowing and tomorrow fishing should be
really good. Until then.

Hey first time for these puppies to go fishing in Wacky Yama.
Met a couple of very cool old guys traveling around Japan together. This dude
caught and cooked some fish for us. Shai made more new friends again.
