To Akiko for Yasuko Katayama. Hi. Thank you very much for your email. The bank
is requiring me to send an additional form which will be mailed out tomorrow.
They said upon receipt of the form the bank account will be set up. They
anticipate the bank account will be completely set up before the end of this
month. The problem is the bank will not send out the bank account number over
the phone, via email, or though regular post mail. They said that I need to wait
until I receive a cash card from them which will then be used to access the bank
account information. They said this cannot be sent out until January but there
is no way to know the exact date I will receive the card. I am asking that you
please grant an extension to complete bank account set up with the American
Embassy past the current January 8, 2023 date which you stated. Please allow an
extension until the end of January simply to be sure I am able to get the bank
account information to you in order to complete my Social Security request with
the American Embassy. Please reply at your earliest convenience. Thank you very
much for your consideration in this matter. Howard Steven Hayman.
December 27, 2023 - This was another unusual one
day trip, and the last for this year, in order to cut the tree stumps on the
truck turnaround on the other side of the road from the campsite. We went to the
grocery store on the way home and bought sushi and coke, grape and orange fanta,
vanilla and chocolate ice cream and some veggies. Unusual junk food purchase but
a reward for all of us dealing with a year filled with a lot of work up at our
mountain.
