literally, from Google ads on the site to pay for server expenses though. All

Message - Hi Howie. That's what I call the
very lowest level of commercial, which just about everyone does now. That
license is cheap. $0.01 per diagram in the public release... The 3rd release
would require a $30 payment sent via PayPal to "trade@rolomail.com". All other
requirements (6) of the license apply at that level of payment. We have one site
online with that license already, and two about to license. If down the road you
want to upgrade to 4th edition etc, its the same rate of $0.01 per "additional"
image. So something like $10 to upgrade to the 4th if it is ever released.
Assuming the payment is OK with you, where are based (info for the License

Message - Jim. Hi. I want to thank you for
sending email so quickly. I wanted to send this to you sooner but needed to take
my wife Akiko to run some errands. Anyway, I would like a bit more information
if possible. 1. Is the $30 a one-time fee? 2. Would you accept a check as
opposed to PayPal? Anytime I receive spam email from users pretending to be
PayPal and it has been difficult to trust this source. 3. Based on the .01 per
diagram payment and the total $30 payment, it works out to 1500 files. I was
wondering if this includes the animated kanji writing order files (SOD) and the
static files (SODA) as seen on the following site?

accepting a check and I want to apologize for any inconvenience. Quite honestly,
I am not really that technically inclined. I was reading your email again and do
not understand the next entry. I was hoping this was a simple file download but
does this does not appear to be the case. From the unix command line of your
server type "tar -zxfv file.tar.gz" with "file" being the name of the download,
and that will open the archive. NEVER try to look at the files with a GUI
(Graphical User Interface) as there are too many files and it will crash many
operating systems. Command line terminals don't have that problem. In addition,
on the download page, these are the choices. Again I am confused.

Message - Hi Howie. Let me start with the
acronyms. SODs = Stroke Order Diagrams. SODAs = Stroke Order Diagram Animations.
PNG = Portable Network Graphics - a highly compressed format for static images.
GIF89a = Graphics Interchange Format Version 89a (July 1989) - an image format
that also allows animation. EUC-JP = Extended Unix Code (Japanese) - an encoding
scheme to turn two bytes of text information into one Japanese character on your
display. Became the usual encoding for Japanese on most Unix operating systems
and is the original encoding used on projects like EDICT. It was useful back in
the early days because almost all web servers were located on Unix machines
(which is still mostly true). Unicode = The most modern encoding scheme for
non-roman characters which require multiple text bytes to represent. Used for
all languages, not just Japanese, creating a unified pan-language scheme to
represent every character used by humans. First operating system to use Unicode
was Macintosh, but now everything uses it. JIS = Japanese Industrial Standards
(JIS) specifies the standards used for industrial activities in Japan. The
standardization process is coordinated by Japanese Industrial Standards
Committee and published through Japanese Standards Association. The kanji which
can be displayed on most computers are those defined by JIS X 0208:1997 : 7-bit
and 8-bit double byte coded KANJI sets for information interchange. Shift-JIS =
(also SJIS, MIME name Shift_JIS) is a character encoding for the Japanese
language originally developed by a Japanese company called ASCII Corporation in
conjunction with Microsoft and standardized as JIS X 0208 Appendix 1. It is
based on character sets defined within JIS standards JIS X 0201:1997 (for the
single-byte characters) and JIS X 0208:1997 (for the double byte characters).
The lead bytes for the double byte characters are "shifted" around the 64
halfwidth katakana characters in the single-byte range 0xA1 to 0xDF. hex codes
are the roman numeral and arabic letters in base 16 math used to represent a
where in a lookup table the various kanji are in their respective encoding
schemes. The basic idea is that you have 1,513 files in both archives. How do
you name the files and thereby know what to ask your server to display when you
want to display a particular kanji. So really, your web application determines
which archive you want to use. tar = tape archive - legacy method of taking many
files and storing them as one that is the most commonly used archival format on
unix machines (and hence web servers). gz = GNU zip - a compression technique
from unix perfect for making huge tar archives smaller when storing files on a
server. So you may want to the diagrams (SODs) or the animations (SODAs). If so,
you need a way to identify the name of the file you want to display on your
server. Will you use hex codes or the actual kanji? If kanji, which encoding
does your software use? If hex codes, which encoding is your hex code based on?
Then after you determine which format you want to work with on your server you
have to uncompress and de-archive the files from the "tar ball" (anything.tar.gz).
On a unix machine that is done by passing the application "tar" commands: "tar -zxfv
file.tar.gz" (-z) decompress (-x) extract (-f) The archive file name,
file.tar.gz in this case, is given on the command line (required whenever the
tar output is going to a file) (-v) Print verbose output (list file names as
they are processed). You can try and read the "tar" man pages by typing "man
tar" at a command line prompt on your server. I know that must be much, but if
you want to run a web server, you probably have to know a little unix. Unless
your using Microsoft's web server, which has a similar system of file
management, albeit not many people use theirs. Hope that gets you started. Jim.

off one at a time from Ice Mocha, but your best bet is probably to call me so I
can talk you through basic unix file manipulations. Its impossible to view a
directory with that many files through a GUI without crashing your system (they
usually top out at around 300 files).

with his parents getting really complicated and they clearly told us they will

Hey Howie. I'm so glad to hear from you! I've missed chatting with you. I know
we've both been busy, but that's no excuse for us to not at least stop by and
say hi. I wish I had been able to stop through to see you and Akiko over the
holidays, but we both know how that can be when you're with family. As for me,
just been really busy with work. Personally, I'm on an emotional rollercoaster.
I told Marie about my situation and she's been a really great friend. Just
listening and being supportive. I've been in one of my moods where I've just
wanted to be alone and not really communicate with friends. I'll drop Marie a

nothing but supportive. They don't judge me (at least I don't think so) and have

Message - Jim. Hi. Actually we barely use the
phone and as a result we are not signed up with a long distance plan and even
calls from San Diego to LA are terribly expensive. In addition, you spent so
much time already with all my questions, and I really do not want to waste any
more of your time. Quite honestly, Akiko is the technical person on the sites
and does all the script stuff. I basically add the content. I am a retired, but
still young, ex real estate appraiser. It is only during the last few years I
began messing around with the computer after changing careers to become an
English teacher. Basically what I need to do, either way, is rename each kanji
file with my site name and other information related to that kanji to optimize
the image for search. Even if I download the file all at once, I would still
need to search for each kanji and rename the file. I made an account on your
site and basically I tried searching for the kanji and then copy and rename the
file. It worked with no problem. Not sure which is better. If you can explain
the procedure in email and send it, this would work. Really would need time to
get through it. You could keep the explanation and use it for others, but again,
I really do not want to waste more of your time. If you read and write Japanese,
even better, then Akiko could work through this. Again, I really appreciate

Nothing has been changed for a long time.
I wish I can give you some shocking news, like got married or pregnant.
Mariko was visiting Japan the end of last year and planed to see each other, but
we could not make it.
I hope I can visit San Diego soon, but it may be difficult because of job and
financial reason.
But, I'll definately do in near future.

Valerie. Hi. I think this situation is pretty awful actually. You are less than
thirty minutes from my home and cannot find the time to come up for months. You
and I were very close when you were young but apparently things changed. I
thought when you showed up a few years back that things would be better. Nothing
changed. You continue to find time to spend with your family, friends,
girlfriend, and band. No doubt you plan to send many excuses but I look at your
myspace occasionally and see all the fun stuff you are doing with everyone else.
Yeah, I know you are busy but come on. Akiko and my friends cannot understand
this situation and quite honestly it is embarrassing. Many times you said you
were coming up and then you do not show up or even call. You are not getting
this kind of behavior from me for sure. When I was working and going to school,
and way busier even then you can imagine, I found the time to spend with my
family. You are still young and do not understand many things but you will think
back at this time some day and realize you were wrong. Something for you to

Wow, you are like my ideal husband.
Generally speaking, Japanese men hardly do household. Sadly, my father and
boyfriend definitely apply this type.
My father doesn't even prepare his underwear and pajamas before he takes a bath.
Then after taking bath, calls out my mother ''Heeeeey, get me my trunks!!'' from
the bath room. Unbelivable, right??
I've got educate my boyfriend not to become like my father before I marry him.
Anyway, I am happy to know you and akiko are doing great.
Do you live in that same condo which I used to visit?
In Toyama, we still have snow and blizzard sometimes.
I miss californian peaceful atmosphere soooooooo much.
I think weather definately affect character-buliding.
I mean, warm and calm weather makes optimistic and positive person,
and cold and harsh weather makes pessimistic and introverted person.
Then I absolutely want to choose the former.
By the way, I also emailed Mariko, but no answer.
I will tell her that we are waiting for her email.
