Hi. I was wondering if next Sunday would be good for finishing up the yard and
doing dinner together. This Sunday SD is not playing and we made no plans.
Anyway send email when you can.

Hi. I am not sure about walking anymore. I was going walking with Akiko and the
baby every morning but now the temperatures are cooler. Going to take the family
in the afternoon probably beginning next week. You are welcome to join us
though. Now less than sixty days before leaving for Japan. Tons of stuff to do
in the next few weeks. Send email when you can.
Howie.

Larry. Hi. Actually I thought you might be out of town. Sent you email awhile
ago about coming over to the house. There was no answer from you and I thought
you might be out of town. The email probably did not go through. Anyway we are
not going to the bagel store these days. We went once in the afternoon. Really
not warm in the morning and Akiko and I continue to be busy with the baby and
with getting ready to move to Japan. We are leaving the end of November. We can
get together with you anytime at your place or at our messy place. Either is
good. Certainly would be nice to get together and talk for a long time. Send
email when you can. Howie.

Hi. We were able to get the Home Depot shopping out of the way today. Thought it
was going to be a lot more difficult but not much of a problem actually. Anyway,
would like to know about the weekend for finishing up the yard work. Supposed to
be pretty nice out. Either day this weekend works at this point. Send email when
you can.

Hi. I kinda figured it would be difficult to find a job now. Anyway, keep trying
and eventually you will get what you want. Today we were out much of the day.
Really not easy with the baby. Went and applied for an international drivers
license and purchased most of the materials for the condo projects. Really wanna
finish everything up. Anyway, send email when you can.

room. Keeping some of it until the end of next month. Going to eat and get drunk
soon. Will try to write another email. Many things to say to you. Send email

Hi. Akiko and I spent Sunday afternoon with a couple we know from the bagel
store. They made a BBQ at their house and we talked for a long time. His wife is
from Thailand. Anyway, I was busy throwing out more of the couch today. Really
getting to nothing in this place. Everything is good enough now to invite guests
to the house. It would be nice if you could come over. Much to talk about. I
know you really want to stay in the United States but kind of want you to move
back to Japan. I think it would be weird to not be in the same country as you.
Thinking about you anytime. Send email when you can.

Message - Larry. Hi. I talked with Akiko and
we might be able to come over once a week. Really depends on the amount of work
finished in our place since it is now forty something days before we leave.
Either way we could not accept money from you though. If you want to invite us
for dinner then it would work. Yup, we work for food. heeee heeee. Send email
when you can. Howie.

Message - Larry. Hi. We took the baby in to
get checked and he has a cold. Now me and Akiko caught the same thing. Kinda
sucks since we need to attend a social event over the weekend. Going to try to
set something up during the week in a couple weeks for the computer tutoring.
The next weekend we are heading up to Palomar and the weekend after Akiko asked
a high school friend to stay with us. Tons of stuff to do and everyone wants to
see us before we move. Should be an interesting few weeks. Anyway, the following
sites should be interesting. This site lists the author of the books we spoke
about.

Hi. I really think you are making a good decision. Actually the same thing I was
telling you from the beginning. This is not a good place to be now. If you can
get a job in a better city you would be much happier. Even the football team
sucks now. Anyway, my place is getting more together every day. This weekend
taking some time off working on this place and staying with friends in the
mountains for a few days. Should be fun as usual. The next weekend a friend
Akiko knows is in SD and might stay with us a couple days. Tons of social stuff
going on. It seems everyone wants to spend time with us before we move. Now
leaving in less than six weeks. Really crazy to think about. Anyway, send email
when you can.

Hi. I was drinking wine tonight and listening to many songs from my past. It
brought back many good memories of when I was in Buffalo. Really incredible the
way time keeps moving on. You are also a good memory from my past and still
continue to be with me as friends in the present. I can remember many good times
with you both as friends and when we were together as a couple. These memories
of you stay with me.
The fact is I think about you often and worry about you anytime. For sure you
went through the most difficult time in this country. I am not sure what anyone
deserves but if what we get is based on the things we go through then you
definitely deserve to stay in this country out of anyone.
I want to see you happy someday. This is not about money or success but about
happiness. You understand about family and the importance of being around those
who are important to you. I believe this was the strongest connection between
us. In many ways you and I are very much the same. Thinking about the family,
the world, and overall values is very similar.
Anyway, this leads me up to your decision. I definitely think SD is no longer
good for you. Although you were able to experience and learn many things in this
place, it is time to move on. Going to a city towards the other coast is a good
idea but it seems like you are going with no set plan. Realize this is still the
United States and not safe. Many cities on the other coast are also experiencing
problems with the economy and unemployment. It might not be easy for you. In
addition, it will not be warm and you are moving during a difficult time of the
year.
I really think it would be better for you to go back home to Japan for awhile
and regroup. Spend some time with your family and allow yourself to think and
look at the United States from a distance. Much easier to see things when you
can be more objective. Now you are in this country and difficult for you to
understand your true feelings.
In time maybe you could get a job in Japan working for a company which could
transfer you back to this country. I really think this is the best move you at
this time. Really trying to advise you without being biased. The fact is, I
would really miss you and want you to be in Japan. Then we can meet each other.
Anyway, this is my thinking. Might be up a bit longer if you want to write back.
If not then send email when you can. Until then.
Howie.

Hi. We shall arrive at your palatial Palomar estate between the afternoon hours
of 4pm and 5 pm. A request if you could. During a previous visit you were kind
enough to play an Indian Raga during the morning hours. It would be wonderful to
listen to it once again. We would also like to listen to you play an instrument
of your choosing during our stay. Yup, been drinking tonight again. See you
tomorrow. Until then.

Hey, we made it home with no problem. Almost a problem though. There was a
bazillion bikers going way too fast up and down the mountain. A biker lost
control and cut directly in front of the truck. Tons of crazies for sure.
Anyway, it was really fun as usual. Thank you very much for letting us stay
again, the wonderful food, and of course, the entertainment and conversation,
and the really nice presents for the stinky little dude. Already looking forward
to seeing you guys in a few weeks. Thank you again.
