Ready to ride the ferry to Osaka.
ANOTHER REALLY CRAZY NIGHT.
We spent last night sleeping on bare tatami with no blankets and pillows ahead
of our move from the island. Very strong thunderstorms and torrential rains
continued throughout the night.
Now outside on the ferry getting close to Kagoshima.
A very cool international traveler.
Ready to leave this beautiful island aboard the cargo ferry en route to
Kagoshima.
And our friends from up north came.
And more neighbors came.
And our very nice friends from across the street.
And Shai was happy sensei came.
A neighbor came to see us off today.

NOW WITH FAMILY AGAIN -
We are once again in Nara with family for a few days before returning to
America. Tonight the menu is sukiyaki and tons of alcohol. lol.

LESS THAN FOUR DAYS -
We are going to leave Japan in less than four days. Pretty sad. This is an
incredible place with incredible people. The nice thing is Japan will still be
there after we return to America. If things do not work out there we can always
return.
PET QUARANTINE FUN TODAY -
We drove a total of 6 hours through the city today to get the dog and cat
inspected for only a couple of minutes at the quarantine place before traveling.
An inspection which is NOT required for travel to America. Crazy.

The family took us out to a really nice restaurant tonight. Thank you very much.
Question....What is the best thing about the hot and humid Summer days of
Japan?........BEER.
TROPICAL STORM IS COMING -
Yup we are going to get a tropical storm today. Should be fun with a lot of wind
and rain. Gonna be finished before we leave this week. Yeah. |
