Message - Billy. Hey there. The yard projects are going well although
they are now to make the resale of this property better. The mountains are
really beautiful and this property rocks. The truth is these people are freaking
crazy and we are leaving for Japan next Spring. The two main reasons for coming
to America was to dispose of the condo and to go through family stuff. The
reasons for wanting to leave are many but suffice to say this place is filled
with gun owners, drug addicts, bigots, and crazy people. America is no longer
the place it was and certainly not a good place to raise a family. Very happy to
leave. Hopefully you can come and visit again before leaving but if not then of
course can meet in Japan. The other day we met Aki and her family at a party
they were holding at their house. Was a lot of fun and we all really got along
well. They will no doubt be good friends from now. Please send email when you

Message - Good afternoon. Wow, leaving in the Spring is pretty quick.
I'll definitely try and make it back up to your place before that. Yeah Julian
is full of all walks of life. The (responsible) gun owners never really bothered
me though as I am part of that group. Tools of the trade in my line of work. I
knew there were several drug addicts in Julian and have arrested a few of them
from time to time. I'm sure there are of few of the ignorant and bigoted red
neck types, but to be honest I had never ran into them with my family. America
is definitely different from when I grew up as well. I always try to seek out
the good in everyone as much as I can. There are some in which the good is so
slight, you can't see it at all. I have met some very bad people over the years
who should never see the outside of a prison cell. At the same time I have had
the pleasure to be some truly good human beings whom still give me hope in
humanity. Speaking of good people, I'm glad you guys finally had a chance to
meet up with Aki and her family. I'll be coming back down to San Diego in the
beginning of November. I'll be participating in the MADD walk on the 4th and
will try to get make it up to Julian. I'll email you when I am down and see if
you and the family are available. I would love to see all of the improvements

Thai. If it involved the use of the credit card, it's important that he receive
the e-mail ASAP. Thai's e-mail address is xxxx@gmail.com. Thai probably thinks I
just did not bother to answer his questions about credit card use. It's
important that he get a response as he does not have a lot of money to purchase

nice to spend time with both of you again. We are totally preparing to return to
Japan as soon as possible. Really not the type to ask for favors but might need
your help before moving like possibly staying at your place for a few days after
escrow closes. Also want to know if you might consider owning our dog. Seemed
like you really liked him and vise versa. Would be perfect for us to be able to
know he is with someone whom we can trust. Akiko is being pretty adamant about
leaving in January with no pets. And there is going to be quite a few things
which I plan to give away if you might be interested….the list if forthcoming.
Anyway please let me know your thoughts about all this when you can.

Message - Howie: (1) No problem with staying
at my place , (2) Can't help with the beautiful dog. If I had a different type
yard and a different type lifestyle it would be great but as it is it wouldn't
be fair to the animal. Suggest you walk the dog each day in town and someone
will jump at the chance to adopt it. I don't mind dying but if I live in the USA
the rest of my life I might die of boredom....... that I mind. Need to do some
traveling and while adopting the dog would would be great in many ways..... it
would give me company and someone to talk to..... but I would fell like bad
leaving him alone a lot to meet my own needs...... it would be like leaving your
child home alone. Will stay in touch. Larry. PS: Suggestion, go to the police or
fire dept. and see if one of the officers would like to adopt it.

Message - Howie. Before you leave San Diego
you should think about taking your kids to the Science Museum in Balboa Park.
The Museum is great for kids as it is almost totally interactive. It give's you
a chance to have fun and explain science to them while they explore. Ah will be
visiting Thai this weekend, with her girlfriend Ping..... gives her a free place
to stay....... No I didn't get invited....probably a lesbian thing..... Anyway,
When you visit, either this Saturday or another weekend, I'll take you and your
family out for dinner at the best BQ restaurant in San Diego........ and I
guarantee no one will start ordering you to "Put out the fire". You are welcome
to spend the night. This Saturday is good or another weekend.....an open
invitation but the Science Museum is worth taking the kids to before escaping.

weekend actually the wifey has a Japanese friend coming to stay and talk.
Definitely your offer to treat us to a nice restaurant is on the list. Thank you
very much. Incidentally we made an appointment for the dog at a place who is
familiar with and does all the requirements for international travel. Now opting
to return with the dog….a very long story. Anyway continuing on the road to
