Let me talk to Thai before I give you a definite
answer. So.... Are you living in your Condo AND Julian....... or are you driving
down from Julian every day. Will set up a day we'll meet you at the pier and
then set up a date that you can come over for some food, wine and conversation.

Message - Mr. Howie, Sounds like you are
staying in San Diego for awhile. Can not make it to the pier tomorrow. Will see
you Saturday at the pier if possible. Thai is going away to Cal State in the bay
area in 8 days (driving) so we are trying to take care of all the last minute
details........ told him to go into the military but he didn't listen. Would
love to get together with you and your family for dinner at our house ..... on
Sunday evening....... about 6pm? We can share some good food, wine and war
stories. Keeping this message short as I'm crashing. Hope everything is going

Message - Larry. Hey there. Was not aware of
your email until now. Actually the condo was sold to purchase the Julian
property. And yes we are driving from the mountain to fishing and then stay with
friends overnight and then go fishing again the next day. Now we are tentatively
planning to go fishing next week from Monday afternoon until Tuesday. Going to
send an email again when plans are more definite. Please send email when you
can.

Message - Thought Julian had lakes nearby for
fishing. No problem. So my understanding is that you will be fishing Saturday
evening from 1500 until dark. Let me know when we can get together in the
future. Will try to make it to ocean beach Saturday evening..... if you are
going to be there. Sounds like you will not be in town on Sunday...... Correct.
I'm driving with Thai up to the Bay Area next week...... will be gone for
several days. Be careful about eating those fish..... good luck. Hope everything

place to fish a few miles from the house but we prefer to eat ocean fish. Anyway
we will not be fishing this weekend. The next fishing is from Monday until
Tuesday as stated in the previous email sent. Anyway yes get together when you

Message - Good morning Howard and happy 3rd day of Autumn. I imagine you
guys have a had a few cooler nights up there with the weather changing. I used
to enjoy the snow days up there (before the throngs of tourists arrived) and I
would grab a cup of coffee at the place next to the gas station in town. Used to
be called Lou's, but I think it is Granny's kitchen now. It was nice to enjoy to
the quiet the snow would bring before having to deal with all the "flatlanders"
(as the locals call them) who would come up to play in the snow. I guess the
vehicle you purchased has arrived by now? I'm sure you have already been there,
but a drive to the Palomar observatory was always fun. So how are the yard
projects going? I remember working in the yard was a passion of yours which you
referred to as "yard therapy". I remember trimming the acacia trees at the
Ballinger Ave house and working on a tree stump in the back yard. Hopefully your
hernia has not been giving you too much trouble and you have had a chance to
schedule surgery. Post operation would be a nice chance to relax, give your body
a break, and enjoy a glass of wine! I'm not sure when I will be down in San
Diego again, but it would be fun to meet up with you and the family in Julian.
Maybe we could go to Wynola pizza and catch up on the last 20 years. Take care.
