February 1, 2024 - Email Message - To Akiko for Yasuko Katayama. Hi. I recently received a payment from social security into my bank account. Thank you again for making this application process easy. We are very busy with appointments this month but plan to get the children benefit paperwork completed at the beginning of March 2024. Please let me know if you require additional information. Thank you again. Howard Steven Hayman.

February 1, 2024 - Email Message - To Akiko for Yasuko Katayama. Hi. Thank you very much for your email. I thought that the children were not required to get a U.S. Social Security number. I thought we simply needed to get Japanese Passports for them or apply for the Japan My Number in order for them to qualify for Social Security benefits. Please advise is this is correct. Anyway, these are the answers to your questions. 1. Who would become an applicant for your children, you or your spouse? I will be the applicant for our children. 2. Do you plan to apply benefits for all three children or you would rather apply for younger two and avoid making trip for in-person appointment at the Embassy/Consulate? I plan to apply for benefits for all three children unless applying for the two younger children will reach the family maximum dollar amount for social security benefits. Please advise regarding this new information at your earliest convenience. Thank you again. Howard Steven Hayman.
- This was overnight trip number 62 and was for two days and one night.  This trip was for getting rid of compost, moving the metal greenhouse, and putting in sweet potatoes for vines. The temperature was pretty cold at night.

February 26, 2024 - Email Message - To Akiko for Yasuko Katayama. Hi. Thank you very much for your email. I would like to begin the application process for the benefits for my children. We will be applying for U.S. Passports for them the beginning of next month. We will send you the passport information once the application process is complete. I would like to know if we will reach the family benefit maximum if we only apply for benefits for the two younger children. Please let me know the answer at your earliest convenience. Thank you again. Howard Steven Hayman.
