THE
DECADE 1890 - 1899
In this decade: the 1st moving pictures appeared in New
York; Alfred Dreyfus was falsely arrested and eventually
pardoned; X-rays were developed; Marconi invented the
wireless; Theodore Herzl founded Zionism.
The following genealogical information was obtained from the book given to
attendees at the Rose Family Club 50th Anniversary Gala, which was held on
September 3, 1995 in Toronto, Canada. This is an ongoing project for me and I am
hoping to connect with as many family members as possible to make the Rose
genealogical timeline even more complete. Please feel free to contact me at the following: |
